The 'Good to the Bone' campaign (“Buenas hasta el hueso”), which seeks to promote the consumption of stone fruit, is expected to grow in 2024. The initiative, which was launched last year by Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain and the regional federations of Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia and Murcia, adds Andalusia and Extremadura in this edition.

The campaign was presented on 7 February at Fruit Logistica, the leading trade fair for the global fruit and vegetable sector, which is held every year in Berlin.

Spain produces about 1,700,000 tonnes of stone fruit every year, almost half of which is destined for export.

The campaign will begin in April and will last until September. Once again, seasonal stone fruits (peaches, nectarines, flat peaches, apricots, plums and cherries) will be the stars of the show.

The campaign has its own website (, where interested parties can find more detailed information about each of the fruits, their characteristics and health benefits, as well as the role played by farmers and cooperatives.

This campaign also proposes audiovisual content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X (formerly known as Twitter), with the aim of reaching a young audience, since older and middle-aged people are already used to eating fruits regularly.
